RainOfRust Campaign



Hey awesome Mozillians!

We are really happy to announce the Rain of Rust Campaign, a month-long global campaign which would be specifically focused on the Rust language. It is going to take place in June 2017 in collaboration with the Rust community.

Here are some of the things about the campaign:

What is the campaign all about?
  • This campaign is specifically focused on the Rust Language.
  • The aim of this campaign is to increase the Rust outreach and train developers to contribute in the Rust ecosystem
  • Formation of regional Rust communities.
  • The campaign is Rust beginners and moderates centric.

Who can be a part of this campaign?
  • Students -> Learn Rust
  • Developers -> Adopt Rust
  • Tech Speakers -> Speak about Rust
  • Curriculum Designers -> Design Rust teaching kits
  • Localizers -> Localize Rust teaching kits
  • Leaders -> Form and lead regional Rust communities
How can you get involved?
  • Participate in online and offline Rust events
  • Organize online and offline Rust events
  • Learn and adopt Rust and hack teaching kits

Mozilla Club Patan Leads 2 Districts for LogOut - Worlds Biggest Cyber Awareness Campaign

Hi Geeks, I'm Dipak Parmar, Club Leader at Mozilla Club Patan, a professional cyber-security enthusiast and a Mozillian who really gets excited when gets opportunity to work on any kind of project in this domain, as I begin my journey with Mozilla community I have been with them from past 2 years. I met the Mozilla Gujarat team at MakerFest 2016 Ahmedabad.  The year after I found "the hacker meetup" event is happening in the city and I'm interested to learn more about cyber security and get in touch with Viral Parmar CEO of ComExpo Cyber Security and Mozillian Rep. First Call with 2019-20 Team

So, we are back with the 2019-20 team of Mozilla Club Patan. We organized an online call to make familiar each member with new Mozillian Team of Mozilla Club Patan. One of our new team members defined this call from her experience like this  "An initiative for formulating something new and techy has been taken by the Mozillian's."- Aditi.  For making it up to the mark, a conference call meeting had been scheduled at 22:30 IST on the 9th February 2019. Summarizing the whole call we discussed opensource and Mozilla's mission towards opensource.
