Core Contributor - Roles & Responsibilities

This section summarizes the basic roles & responsibilities of our contributors.


Social Media

As a social media contributor, you will be handling our social media channels including our official Facebook page, Twitter account and Instagram account to reach our wide-spread community members. Some general duties will include posting various news/events updates, sharing useful relevant resources and replying to comments/questions of the community on these social media channels.

Blogging/Content Writing 

As a blogging and content writing contributor (writer), you will be writing and sharing the top-notch quality content to our community. On regular basis, you will be writing our official blog (under your very own identity and authorship) about our upcoming events, news, contributor stories, event reports, community spotlight stories and anything interesting about the community, opensource and Mozilla. You will get your personal named official Mozilla patan author account to publish the content written by you!

Graphic Design

As a graphic design contributor, you will be designing various creatives for social media (mainly for Facebook), website banners, event posters and event badges for the community events. You may also be designing branding materials such as flyers, newsletters etc.

Web Design & Dev.

As a web design & development contributor, you will be looking after our official website. Your core responsibility would be maintaining the website's backend and frontend, updating website with available content like photos, videos, blog posts etc.

2 Day's Workshop On Arduino

After the Short break, We came with the 2 Days Workshop which is based on Microcontroller Arduino.It was an introductory workshop to teach the enthusiast students about the Internet of Things, How the World is being smarter with IoT and Smarter appliances and How it works? India uses Firefox Nightly Campaign: 15 Events in 60 Days!!!

Yet another campaign!! And excitement galore. So hold your breath. Here comes the exciting news for all the Mozillians. With an aim to increase Firefox nightly usage in India, we’re bringing in a new campaign called “India uses Firefox Nightly“. Have you tried Firefox Nightly yet, download it now and check yourself. Very few people in India actually know about Firefox Nightly. So, we’ve taken an initiative to run a pilot campaign for Firefox Nightly throughout India just to make our Mozilla India community aware and educate on the usefulness of this campaign. Forget not, India has a fairly big Mozilla community comprising of dedicated students, developers and evangelists who are really passionate about Mozilla.
